Add label(s)

With the add label tool you can add one or several labels to a bunch of pages in one action. For the pages the label(s) shall be added three options are available:

  • Add label(s) to all pages in the space

  • Add label(s) to all child pages of one or several selected pages

  • Add label(s) to one or several selected pages

How it can be used

1. Select the target page option for adding the label(s)

Please note that you can only select pages in the select list

  • which are in the space where you accessed the toolbox

  • which you can see and have access to

  • which have child pages

2. Type in the label(s) you want to add. You can either insert one label, or several labels separated by spaces. Please note that spaces are not allowed within labels in Confluence cloud. Therefore, inserted spaces will be considered as separation of labels. As an example, if you insert “test label”, the labels “test” and “label” will be added to the page(s).

3. Click on the button “Add Label(s)”

If the label(s) have been successfully added, you will see a green success message.

If necessary, you can immediately add additional labels again after completion of the operation.
