Every user can access his Absence Planner via the public user profile or= by clicking on the avatar in the top right corner in Jira.
To add a new absence entry, click on =E2=80=9CAdd Absence=E2=80=9D butto= n. On the opened dialog, details on the planned absence can be inserted.

If you are always out of office on certain days of the week, you can add= this as regular absence. Just click on the =E2=80=9Cadd regular absence=E2= =80=9D button in the absence planner.
The following information can be inserted
Summary (mandatory): Add a title for your absence (e.g.= Fridays off)
Regular absence on: Select the days of the week you are= not in. You can select also more than one day.
Message: Leave an optional message for your team
After adding the recurring absence, it is displayed in the absence plann= er and other users will see the out of office indication in Jira issues on = the day(s) of the week you selected.
If your planned absences change, you can edit them by clicking on the ed= it icon in the actions column. Data can be changed on the opening dialog.= p>
